Are you are looking for an interactive way to teach the parts of a flower to your students? This resource set comes with a poster that is perfect as a notebook insert or classroom display, ten 3-part nomenclature cards, and a test yourself fill in the blank worksheet.
What is included with the resource:
- Poster
- Fill in the blank worksheet
- Ten 3-part Montessori Nomenclature Cards
Why use this resource?
Studying the parts of plants is an important lesson. It is the basis for a pollinator study, ecology, and learning about the planet. The 3-part cards will help your students master each part of the flower and learn where pollination occurs. The poster is great for a classroom diagram or notebook insert. To test students’ knowledge, the fill in the blank worksheet is perfect.
How to use this resource:
First, print and cut out the 10 cards. I’d recommend pasting them on some quality colored cardstock. Start by introducing the entire card to your student. Let them practice with them. Once they have mastered this, cut off the description and have students practice matching the illustration and name to the description. Once they have this down, cut off the name and have students match the illustration, name, and description. The poster is great as an overview of the instruction. It includes the same labels as the 3-part cards.
