Why use this resource?
This is a great way to practice animal tracking with children. Animal tracking is an excellent opportunity to learn about animals and their behavior. It’s also a great way to teach animal adaptations and how animals survive in their environment. This resource is great to get your class outside in any weather, but especially on snowy or muddy days.
How to use:
First print out the worksheets. Then instruct the students to draw a line from the animal to their corresponding track. I suggest teaching a lesson or two on animals and their tracks before assigning this worksheet. I have a large bundle of animal track resources to help you get started.
